I was born and raised in Athens. I love meeting travelers from all over the world and introducing them to the beauties of my beloved country. I love to illustrate the connection between different cultures and the rich Greek heritage. During my visits it is always a pleasure to share my passion for history, ancient and modern, and at the same time to share with visitors every little detail of Greece today at the social, political and of course gastronomic.
After finishing secondary school at the Franco-Hellenic "Jeanne d'Arc" high school, I was admitted to the Faculty of History & Archeology of the University of Athens and obtained my Diploma (Bac+4) in 2011.
I continued my university education in Paris. First as an Erasmus student (Paris X-Nanterre), and then at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) I obtained a Master's degree in History. In 2013 I followed the course of guide-lecturer at the University of Aegean and I obtained the official license of guide-lecturer in Greece and France (professional card).
As I often say, 'I am in love with my job, and every opportunity to learn is an opportunity to enhance the experience I provide to my valued visitors.'
Therefore, I have participated in many historic colloquia and attend several conferences throughout the year. Following my commitment to continuous learning, I am proud to hold a certification with specialized training in religious and biblical tourism, acquired through dedicated seminars and courses. In addition, I prioritize the safety and well-being of my guests, holding a First Aid Certification from the Hellenic Red Cross.
My particular interest in contemporary history pushed me to the military archives of the Directorate of History of the Greek Army where I completed a one-year internship. In addition, I published the book “Resistance in Central Greece (1941-44): Power to Fight - Violence: The Origins of the Civil War. Consolidation of power and internal violence of Resistance organizations».
Today I live in Athens and I work as an official tourist guide all over Greece. I am fluent in French, English, and Greek and lead individuals and groups in all three languages. I enjoy passing on my knowledge but above all establishing interaction with the hosts during the visit.
As a professional tourist guide, I understand that each and every visitor is unique, and your time is precious. By taking the time to get to know your individual interests, I am able to suggest personalized ideas for unforgettable guided tours that are close to my heart. My experience includes providing guided tours for high-profile individuals, such as NATO Commander Submarines Thomas Wall during his official visit to Greece. As a cosmopolitan, I have a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and insights with visitors from around the world.
Let me help you create memories that will last a lifetime on your next guided tour with me.
